The new pool at out YMCA just opened and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves! The parks are full of friends and, as usual, there is never a dull moment! I ran upstairs to put away laundry and came down when I realized it was far too quiet to find the boys had decorated themselves. I was actually pleased that it wasn't on any furniture or the walls! Needless to say, markers are now an outside activity!
The summer hiking season has officially begun and we are happy to be taking advantage of it! Chataqua has some really beautiful and less strenuous hikes perfect for us. Charlie has become quite a trail blazer and hiked with me on my birthday for 2 hours!!!!! 
Big day in the Hannah house. The Nuk Fairy came (she carpooled with the Easter Bunny) and collected all the nuks to give to babies who need them. In exchange for the nuks the boys got some pretty special toys that only big boys can play with (not babies!) Charlie got a cool fighter jet and Henry got a rocket ship. The boys were a little sad after a few days when it sunk in that the nuks were really gone, but they've been pretty brave and are doing really well without them now.
The boys love animals and living near so many farms we get to see a lot of neat animals. Charlie started singing Baa Baa Black Sheep and got a group of people to sing a long with him!
Charlie LOVED the little chicks and found one in particular that he wanted to bring home. Poor little chick....
Daisy was fixated on a bird across the street. Charlie took the opportunity to inspect her. He was lifting her ears and touching her face and talking to her- she just let him and never took her eyes off the bird! Then he put his arm around her and just stood next to her and rubbed her back. Charlie really loves her and is in charge of feeding her dinner every night as his 'chore'. Daisy is about 30# now and should fill out a bit more but is basically about as big as she'll get. 
I found some stamps and a couple stamp pads on sale at Michael's. WHAT A MESS!! I'm just glad I got the washable stuff.
