We had a BIG snow dump yesterday- the first day of Spring! But today it was beautiful. We had planned on hiking if the weather was good but since it was so snowy we decided to bundle up and take a snow walk over at Coot Lake. There is a protected area on the west side of the lake where Bald Eagles nest, so Charlie carried his binoculars with him so he could try to see them- no luck this time, but we'll be sure to check all Spring and Summer.

The weather has been great notwithstanding our current snowfall. We took the opportunity to walk around Wonderland Lake and play at the playground last weekend. It's one of our favorite trails. Daisy liked all the sniffing and sunshine too.

We went to the indoor outlet mall to get the boys some new shoes and clothes. They have a big child's play area with all kinds of cool riding toys. Of course, the boys loved it!
