Henry Started Pre School!

Henry started preschool 2 days per week at a little home-based Montessori preschool called Autana School. He loves it! His teacher says he is very curious and BUSY! She said he is adjusting well and responding really well to the new rules and environment. He has been bringing home lots of art work and singing new songs in his own little made up language he calls Spanish. His teachers (there are 3 total) are Venezuelan and speak Spanish and English in the classroom, so he's picking up words here and there.
The pictures are of the first morning I took him. He was all over the place and playing with everything. The teacher was so sweet and helped work with the lessons and was showing him how to roll the rugs and play with the puzzles. They have a big back yeard with a play structure and a garden and lots of tricycles for everyone to ride. I think he's going to have a great time here.

Since Henry started preschool, Charlie and I have had a lot more time together. On this day I took him for his haircut and then for a treat at the ice cream shop. Charlie ordered the gooiest, fudgiest flavor they had and licked the bowl clean!

January - March 2011- post 1

The weather is getting so nice. We have been taking lots of walks on our little nature paths. Henry enjoyed collecting pine cones and rocks for his "poop bag". He carried it the whole walk and was very diligent about collecting his "poops".

Charlie is FOUR!!!!!!

I can't believe it! Every year it sneaks up on me. This year we had his party at the WOW Children's Museum. All the kids had a great time.
P.S. That beautiful little girl and that adorable little baby boy are my niece and nephew, Chloe and Isaac. Chloe Turned 3 this year! And Isaac is about 7 months in this picture, he is the sweetest baby and a BEEF CAKE!

Vegas Christmas

This year we spent Christmas in Las Vegas with my mom. We had a terrific time.

Thanksgiving- 2010

We were home for the Holiday this year, so we hosted several friends to come celebrate with us. We don't have a yard, but we still managed to get a good game of football in.

More Fall 2010

Nee Nee came for a visit and helped make some Holiday crafts. And Charlie is now old enough to sing on stage at church- I love seeing him up there.

Annual Fall trip to Estes Park

For the past few years we have taken a little weekend trip to Estes Park for some hiking and Elk watching. Fall is the Rut season for the Elk and the bulls are out in full force looking for the ladies. This big, impressive guy greeted us outside our window one morning!

PUMPKIN PATCH!!!!!! 2010

For the past 3 years we have visited Anderson Farm for our pumpkin. They are a HUGE working farm complete with Scottish Highland Cows and Buffalo- It's TONS of fun!
