Annual Fall trip to Estes Park

For the past few years we have taken a little weekend trip to Estes Park for some hiking and Elk watching. Fall is the Rut season for the Elk and the bulls are out in full force looking for the ladies. This big, impressive guy greeted us outside our window one morning!

PUMPKIN PATCH!!!!!! 2010

For the past 3 years we have visited Anderson Farm for our pumpkin. They are a HUGE working farm complete with Scottish Highland Cows and Buffalo- It's TONS of fun!

Burn Scar

I took a drive up to the burn area after the fire and got a few shots of the damage. I was grateful to see that the wildlife was recovering/ thriving despite the terrible devastation to their habitat.

Four Mile Canyon Fire

We had a really bad wild fire in the mountains just west of Boulder this summer. At around 10am we noticed a distinct camp-fire smell in the air and then the sky turned orange and the ash started falling. These are the pictures I was able to capture.

Steabmoat Lake Camping Trip- 2010

We took a drive up to Steamboat Springs for a VERY fun camping trip. The scenery in beautiful and the weather was PERFECT! The boys had a great time and loved every second of it. So did Daisy. Can't wait for more camping this summer!
