Today we went to Golden Gate State Park near Golden, CO and hiked a great trail up to a nice overlook facing most of the Colorado rocky mountain range. You'll notice in some of the pictures that Charlie has a new haircut, which was supposed to be a trim, but it's not as easy to do at home as the professionals make it seem. All in all it was a heck of a hike, a lot of steep climbs up to the overlook but well worth it. We plan to head back in the next two weeks to see the full turn of the aspen trees before fall.
